Seasons

Summer passes

leaves begin to fall

silence.

winter snow

fierce.

as does my heart ache.

Emptiness prevails.

I hear silence in the distance,

ringing softly as it comes near to me.

guilt becomes dear,

comforting me as i weep

for the end of a new beginning.

The land is cold,

as barren as my soul.

I cry for you to come save me,

you pretend not to hear.

I'm human.

I bleed, too.

Can you see me seep

into the abyss of lonliness.

All it took was just one kiss.
